For all of you fans of Can, this bootleg is a must listen. Taking material from both Tago Mago and Ege Bemasi, this live performance lives up to its namesake. A very dark turn to many of their seminal tracks. From a slower and methodical jam on “Paperhouse” to a 27 minute jam vortex on “Pinch”, they take full advantage of the live performance. Recorded between some shows between 1972 and 1973, it captures the band right in their prime. You aren’t going to get pristine audio quality on this, but all things considered it’s pretty great quality for a live bootleg.
